4 1/2 - 5 stars for the complete 3 part story. Excellent tale. I look forward to more about Signy's journey!Very enjoyable tale set in medieval Scandinavia. As a coming of age story it will appeal particularly to young adults. Excellent character development. I loved that when read on my Kindle, many archaic terms are found it it's dictionary, at a touch of the finger.
* Please note that this only the last of 3 installments that make up the complete novel. You will need to invest in Parts 1 & 2 and re them in order to enjoy the whole novel. I usually don't invest my time in this form of entertainment (installment or serial stories rather than complete novel purchases), but due to the historical period, decided to take chance on it. I'm glad I did.

I was disappointed... you get threw 2 books and only a year of this child's life has come to pass... In book three you realize she is not but a child but a teenager and it's still stuck in the same year... and only a few months go by in the third book and very immature because her thoughts are too childish. Three books the author could have done in one. Cheesy
Wonderful book full of magic and a fascinating character who is both fearful and brave. Find out about the lives of Viking women and their children and families -just as fascinating as their male counterparts! I hope there will be a part 4. ... I love this character - Signey. To the author-thank you for sharing you vision and keep these good stories coming!
This wasn't at all what I expected. The "story" (a very loose term) went nowhere. I must have expected there to be a point to it, but it was lacking. This was a very easy read, but completely unsatisfying. Throughout the "story" Signy didn't understand anything. I felt the same way.
I enjoyed this whole series so much, just had some unanswered questions at the end of the third book and hope that there will be more so I know the answers. It would be so great to read of Signy's adventures as she learns from Frua Helga and advances and grows up. I truly hope to see more to this series soon. Thanks for the work on this and extensive research. Please keep writing!
This was a good book. I received the first book free but bought the second and third. It had an engaging story line with well developed characters. I am hoping there are more books following so I can follow along with Signy's life. I loved how the history and belief system was woven into these books and learned quite a bit by reading this book.
This review is of all three parts of the Signy Kraka book. I liked the story, and the author's writing drew me in well enough, but the end comes too soon. Literally. There are at least 3 story lines that are not resolved and just left hanging, which I won't mention due to spoilers. Is part 4 in the works, or is the author setting up a sequel? You really can't tell, and that's why I only gave it 4 stars.
I read this 3 part series on the recommendation of Octavia Randolph, author of the Ceredwin series. If you are expecting anything as good as Octavia's books, you won't get it. But that being said, I enjoyed it. I learned a lot. And I hope there are more books in the series so I can find out what happened to the characters. To be fair to the author, this was one single book broken up into three parts. If you look at that way, there is plenty of room to develop more in the next book or books. So if you like historical novels you will not be disappointed.
